Promote healthier living for Windsor-Essex County residents through municipal policies that identify, advocate and develop infrastructure that supports active lifestyles.

To encourage local government key decision makers to identify, advocate and develop policies that support better designed built environments suited for healthy active lifestyles.
 

This may include allocating resources to better support built environments suited for active lifestyles.
 

 Host a community forum targeting key local government decision makers, and planners to identify, advocate, initiate, develop and implement policies that support better designed built environments.

Local government decision makers will receive data and resources supporting the benefit of policy strategies that encourage a built environment that supports active transportation (e.g., walking, bicycling).

Local policy strategies that improve the connectivity within and among our communities will be identified.
Support Windsor-Essex County workplaces to become a Bike Friendly Workplace. To provide municipalities in Windsor-Essex county with resources that supports them in their efforts to develop a Bike Friendly workplace policy and resources. Local workplaces will receive resources that support the benefit of policy strategies and resources that will encourage employees to cycle to work and take on a healthier lifestyle.
