This is a picture of a key on top of the word leadership.Governance

The Go For Health (GFH) governance structure is quite simple but very effective. GFH’s main operations go through a Steering Committee. In addition to the Steering Committee, GFH work is supported by six standing committees – an Operations Committee and five targeted Sector Committees (Business, Education, Government, Health and Recreation and Leisure).

Steering Committee

The GFH Steering Committee provides the overall strategic direction for the GFH coalition. Additionally,  it provides leadership, expertise, and guidance for resource persons and/or the designated leads of the targeted sector groups.

Operations Committee

The GFH Operations Committee oversees the coordination of the GFH initiative. Additionally, it performs functions on behalf of the coalition, provides direction for communication initiatives, and makes recommendations to the GFH Steering Committee.

Sector Groups

The GFH Sector Groups build and strengthen collaborative partnerships within their respective sector. They also advocate for, create, and implement policies within their sector that promote and support healthy living.
