To review the Healthy Schools Declaration and it’s Annual Summary Report at an annual meeting with the four Directors of Education and their respective senior administration teams. This will ensure continued support and advocacy of healthy eating and physical activity policies in schools. Working together with the school board senior administration team in achieving the identified next steps in the Healthy Schools Declaration.
To provide local school boards with a Healthy Eating and Physical Activity tool kit to identify, advocate and develop policies that support students in improving their overall health and wellbeing at the school and beyond.

Consult with school board administration, teachers, parents, students and Go For Health Partners on the most effective strategies and resources that support policy on healthy eating and physical activity.

Develop toolkit of resources that provide and support best practices in the areas of healthy eating and physical activity amongst three target groups; school board administration and staff (teachers), students and parents.

Toolkit includes brochures, posters, booklets, support materials, videos and website support that are aimed at advocating, developing and implementing policy change within the school board.
 

Provided healthy eating and physical activity resources to school boards that support and advocate for board level policies.
